EROSION by Dog Smoke streaming everywhere now. Some words about the release by the singer:

People are being kidnapped by the government in Los Angeles right now. I live right outside of downtown and the sound of sirens and helicopters have been constant.

We recorded these songs in a downtown rehearsal lock out. The sky was silver and grey and black. I was holding onto a story - maybe the most terrible story I’ve ever heard - told to me by a client who I loved about the loss of a child. The band recorded the music live and together with one overdubbed guitar. It was beautiful. The vocals were last. I never sing either song the same way twice. I was thinking about the kid, and at some point during the vocal I threw my back out and spent the next 2 weeks on the couch.

I’m grateful for this music and for these recordings that have given me the opportunity to house and hold unbelievable pain. It’s in all of us right now. I hope someone gets something out of this. Good luck. I’m still full of hope and overcome by love. See you on tour. Babylon Will Fall.

- Cal

Greens for Blue by Tom Clary is out now!!

Tom Clary has been digging through dusty antique stores and came up with this gem. Greens for Blue combines the bright, upbeat sounds of classic country and bluegrass with heartfelt, high lonesome lyricism. Between his solo material and his work with traditional bluegrass group The Sylvan River Band in Austin TX, Clary’s music follows a through-line that can be traced from the origins of country music to the sounds of today.

This is the first release for Main Quest that crosses state lines! Welcome to the family Tom.
