29 started in one of my favorite places, with some of my favorite people. Feeling very lucky to have a group of friends who are willing to run around the zoo with me and be kids again🐘🏮So grateful for the people who make life feel fun, for the experiences we get to share, and for another year surrounded by so much love. Here’s to 29! by @maisfried

Professionally, 2025 has been a year of growth. This year has been beyond my wildest dreams.
•Appointed as a nonprofit CDC Executive Director
•Honored as OWA Emerging Leader & Volunteer of the Year
•Working closely with MBK Ohio communities and convening with the national MBK Alliance in Chicago
•Served as Field Organizer on my first political campaign
•Heading the marketing committee for a beloved cancer prevention nonprofit
•Keeping my social work skills sharp with Columbus libraries
•Serving the community alongside loved ones and having my friends join for events
I can’t wait to see what 2026 brings. by @maisfried

Inspired, grounded, and motivated. So thankful for the opportunity to convene in Chicago with changemakers from across the country. The MBK Alliance hosted 6 MBK Ohio chapters and 50 other communities for a week of strategy, organizing and planning. This July marked 4 years with MBK Ohio and the connections I’ve made with this network gives me so much hope. ✨ taken in Chicago, Illinois by @maisfried
