THE BOUNCE WAS IN CHICAGO!!! A month ago, I had the honor of photographing ISWIS’s first live show in Chicago during their 2026 tour across 7 cities.

It was incredible to experience an ISWIS live show for the first time (gist pro max, I tell you! A time was indeed had), to see the inimitable powerhouses @jolaayeye and @fkabudu doing their thing, and to work alongside such a great team of creatives @giwasworld @findingijeoma @mummypraiseovoh @uchenwansi @tw00bytw00 @ade.jpg @msnunupops @shipwreckflo ✨✨✨

Thank you again @findingijeoma for putting me on, and @take3.media for the opportunity!

@jolaayeye and @fkabudu, you both have created something so special and so meaningful with ISWIS — thank you for the pod, the advice you provide, and for the inimitable impact ISWIS has had on Africans worldwide, and on the creative economy. To many more years of the bounce!!! 🎤🎤

Amma | Live in Chicago for Soho Rising (April 2026) 🧡🤎✨

Immensely grateful for the opportunity to have captured her intimate set at Soho House Chicago a few weeks ago. A mellifluous songstress with an evocative pen and vivid lyricism, she performed songs from her now recently released debut album, “Middle Child”, a few of her older singles, and an nostalgic rendition of Miley Cyrus’s “The Climb”.

Thank you to the Soho House team for trusting me to memorialize this performance through my lens 📸 taken in Soho House Chicago by @maithuza
