Two weeks ago, the John D. O'Bryant African American Institute hosted an inaugural Juneteenth festival to celebrate Northeastern University officially recognizing the holiday as a university holiday, and the history, culture, and warmness from the spirit of community that surrounds the holiday ❤️💚🖤

It is important to remember that sustainability is not solely about environmental sustainability, and one of its key pillars is social sustainability - and expanding opportunities for all people in the future we create today.

Paired together with economic and environmental sustainability, it is critical in creating a healthier world, and ensuring poverty and wage gap reduction, greater accessibility to essential resources, and ultimately, shared prosperity for all.

Here are some photos from the event.
