APRIL : 30 days have never flown by faster! Kicked off by hosting family Easter lunch with my people! We had our busiest month at PropHouse to date! 😅 Spent the first week in Montgomery with Evan & Co designing a monumental 100th corporate celebration! After multiple events, finally headed to Nashville on a private jet for an unforgettable trip! Jessica and I spent a whirlwind 24 hours including dining at The Catbird Seat, a private Bourbon tasting with Max and visiting Trisha Yearwood’s Kitchen and the Seven’s Club! Once we were back, hit the ground running again with site visits, corporate events and of course, kicked off a personal bathroom Reno project (as if I needed anything else added to my plate! 🙃) And sourcing the perfect piece… by @majerik

MARCH: From Tampa to Louisville and everywhere in between! We kicked off this month traveling to Tampa to add some fabulous bar details to an amazing wedding! One of my favorite things is choosing marble, added a special touch to the kitchen! I spent time mingling with industry friends at some great parties/events. Added in some lake time and dining with friends for some relaxation. Finished off the month with a quick buying trip to Louisville to pickup a few special props for April! by @majerik

FEBRUARY : We started off with our heads in the clouds and pretty much the month flew by! Kicked it off with a site visit in Tampa, then right into finding new homes for all our PH sale items! The largest crowd so far and so many friends! Intimate VDay dinner at home and then hosted ‘House of Secrets’, a @prophousebirmingham industry event that included new reveals and of course, a little day-drinking never hurt anyone! Drove up to BlackBerry Farm’s Design Summit and spent three wonderful days with my pal @jodiduncan, including fab speakers, ah-mazing food, roaring fires and snow! @prophousebirmingham rented items featured in @kindsnacks national ad campaign! Finished up with two fundraising galas we love to be a part of : AHA Heart Ball + Smile A Mile’s Red Nose Ball! by @majerik

JANUARY : You were a slow and steady introduction to the new year. I kicked it off by celebrating the past year’s hard work and dedication with the entire company enjoying a nice dinner party together! From there was a quick trip to one of my favorite places, Rhode Island, where some of the most beautiful mansions, classic antiques and delicious donuts can be found. If you’re ever looking for me, I might be there! We had our team photoshoot with the talented @heatherdurhamphotography : they are so good, I can’t wait to share! There may or may not be a picture with a peacock coming soon 😉 I attended some wedding parties as a guest all the while delivering weddings and being amazed by the incredible craftsmanship my team has. We use this month to recover, prepare, organize, re-energize and plan for one helluva 2026 we’ve got coming… by @majerik

2016: It was the year I grew up. I bought a building, yes you know the one! I started surrounding myself with an amazing team. It was the year I designed events at the White House. It was the year of donut walls, ribbon walls, Best in Show Bridal booths, amazing floral Cake tables, beautiful wedding blooms! It was the year I invested in growing PropHouse with the first ever Sophia collection (YES, we still have some of the original sofas and chairs!). We created our first 4-sided Mega Bar! We created Boxwood Hallways and designed Samford’s 175th Anniversary and the Zoo Gala with origami and paper parasols. It was the year I knew I was onto something. Ten years later…what would 2016 Mandy think? She’d be proud and encourage herself to keep taking risks, pushing boundaries and still believing in herself and those around her. by @majerik

DECEMBER : You are always a whirlwind! Some of my favorite events happen during this month and as always carving out time to celebrate with family & friends. It’s the time for eggnog, Christmas lights, flocking & glitter, the love of giving, roaring fires, time of reflection and thankfulness for all of my people. How blessed I am to live this life, glitter and all. 😉 by @majerik

15 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! : Some marriages don’t even last that long! Today marks 15 years of Sheri showing up with a HotHouse/PropHouse tshirt on, reporting for duty no matter what the task may be! From Lakeview to Las Vegas, she’s been designing by my side! I wouldn’t want to do it without her! I’m a lucky lady to be surrounded by so much talent. She can read my sketches, read my mind and almost my handwriting! 😉 by @majerik

NOVEMBER : You were filled with family, furry pups, flowers and good food! We did a nice corporate job to honor Veteran’s Day with tabletop+window flag graphics. I designed a beautiful wedding for family. PH introduced a beautiful custom bar, meet the ‘Kipton’ Bar!Started an art collage on the guest room wall (more to come!) Thankful for the gift of wine from the sweetest client! We took Frances to Buc-ee’s for her 75th treat! Added ‘Telly’ to the PH fleet! Rounded out the month with Turkey dishes, A+ Team lunch, family, furry pups and fires. Definitely a month of reflection and thankfulness. ❤️ by @majerik

Celebrating 75 with a Buc-ee’s Birthday! We took this lady, ‘Fancy Francey’ out on the town, gave her a hot $100 to spend and brought some brisket home for dinner! Happy Birthday, Mom! @bucees by @majerik

OCTOBER: This month started out strong and ended strong! It began with showing off my packing skills and turning my yard into something ‘special’ for the neighborhood. We spent October nights at the lake, trying a PinkGlow Pineapples for the first time and watching football with friends. Taylor Swift BAO Bingo with my girls, who sell all the cool things you see from PH like XX and dreamy heirloom lattice. Spent a Saturday as a witch riding in the LP neighborhood in ‘Spooky’ style! Headed to High Point with my gal pal Jodi, with a quick stop in Nashville to see the Flower Showhouse! Met Leanne Ford (!), picked up a Dutchman along the way, had the first fire of the season and finally rounded out my October high with my PH + INK Tribe sharing some Halloween sugar. Love this Life. 🧡 by @majerik

SEPTEMBER: Exciting times in Birmingham and Beyond! We traveled to NY visiting my fav stores, eating in the streets of Chinatown and checking off that bucket list-US OPEN! I finally framed & hung some heirloom treasures! We had some AH-mazing events at work for UAB, University of Alabama, Vulcan Materials + so many more! It’s my favorite day at work “TEAM DAY” where we work to play and play at work! The annual orchid show was in town, so many cool varieties! finished out the month with a quick trip to Maryland+Virginia visiting other rental companies:so inspiring! ❤️ by @majerik
