the more i read the Bible, the more i can’t stop thinking about Jesus Christ.

after 9 years of going toe to toe in the ring with my demons, navigating spiritual warfare & consciously committing to healing, i desire a much deeper understanding of Christ Consciousness & an entirely different relationship w/ Yeshua… while remaining very cautious about equating that relationship with every expression of institutional Christianity.

like many, i experienced deep wounds from judgmental, hypocritical and self-righteous Christians. for a long time, those experiences stunted my faith in Christianity which subconsciously influenced my willingness to develop my own relationship with Yeshua.

but over the past couple years, i stopped allowing that to be an excuse.

reflecting back, i never stopped praying to, seeking or loving YHWH God, but i rarely acknowledged Yeshua bc i realized i connected him to the wounds.

today- the more i read about Jesus, the more curious, patient, empathetic, grounded, guided, wise, confident & peaceful i show up. my heart continues to soften. my mind is being renewed. i’ve found answers to things i once believed were contradictory, only to discover even deeper questions. life challenges i thought were unique to me have stories, teachings, warnings & wisdom in the Bible that speak directly to them.

over the past decade self-help books, ayahuasca, plant medicine, tarot, Buddhism, yoga (the list goes on) all have played a necessary role in my testimony.

but every road led me right back to Christ.

i read that my birth name means “belonging to the Lord,” & i can’t help but think… maybe i had to spend all those years literally wandering through the world, searching for where i belong, only to remember that the answer had been hidden in my name all along.

a name i haven’t been called since middle school.. around the same time of my first wound w/ Christianity.

the core teachings & consciousness of Christ, the awakened Master & Son of YHWH, is not about religion. it’s rooted in love- unconditional love.

seeking & desiring to be the embodiment of unconditional Love is the closest i’ve felt to Purpose, to the Truth & to Freedom.

i wouldn’t be me if i didn’t mention this night/fight landed on the last new moon of the year in the astrological sign of Sagittarius. Sagittarius doesn’t whisper- it kicks the door in and asks why you’re still playing small. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, which expands whatever you point it at. this moon didn’t plant seeds for next week, it planted seeds for the version of you you’re becoming. career, spiritual path, teaching, leadership, travel, voice, influence. the big-picture stuff that’s going to unfold because you stopped negotiating with your own calling.

authenticity to me is divine alignment, it’s making your soul visible. it’s a world where you see the soul inhabit the body vs. the body inhabiting the soul. authenticity feels like freedom, integrity and harmony.

divine alignment is aligning yourself to God, within, as nothing outside of you could fill the space where the soul belongs.

aligning to the divine is accessible through a culmination of various practical mediums like:

1. choosing deep breaths over shallow breaths
2. meditating on the word
3. having an open & curious mind
4. surrendering to your process
5. listening to your internal GPS system aka intuition
6. speaking your truth
7. dropping your ego’s agenda
8. being attached to nothing
9. owning and knowing who you are
10. how do you align to the Divine?

unclench your jaw. relax your eyebrows. let your tongue fall from the roof of your mouth. drop your shoulders. lift your chin. sit up. release the breath you are holding. notice any tension. take a deep breath in. exhale the tension. now just breathe. just be.

i’m in a season of calling fourth and facing my subconscious, with compassion. probing for the truth, my truth, while challenging social constructs. powering through painful feelings of the unknown and the discomfort of doing everything outside my purview. growing pains & healthy conversations expanding perspective. i cried, i released for 11 days last month. getting unstuck and out of the shadows, escaping into a space where i can blossom and thrive… with integrity.

at the moment, my vision of the world around me is foggy. nothing is clear as it was 3 months ago. but the world inside of me is slowly becoming just that… clearer and clearer. i pray(ed) for clarity, hard. just didn’t know i was asking to lose my sight in order to gain insight along the way.
