Okay, NOW that I showed you the reality of ACL Mudfest… 😂 THIS was actually our real Day 1 of ACL! 🌧️🎶🤘🏽

Even though getting around felt like we were trekking through the damn trenches, we pushed through and still managed to have SUCH a good day. ACL is always such a vibe. 🖤

And honestly, I’ll take the mud over the heat! The cooler weather and rain actually felt amazing… it was just the sacrifice of navigating that MUD. 😭😂

We definitely missed a few people we would’ve loved to see, but getting from one side of the festival to the other was way harder than expected. Still, we made the absolute best of it, saw some of our favorites, danced, laughed, got filthy, and prevailed. 🙌🏽✨

Day 1: muddy, messy, exhausting… but SO worth it. 🖤🎶

ACL DAY ONE 🌧️🎶🤎 aka… ACL MUD FEST 😂

And let me tell you, it absolutely lived up to the name. We thought the RAIN was going to be the challenge… nope. The rain was actually BEAUTIFUL. It was the damn MUD. 😭😂

Getting from stage to stage was so much harder than we expected, especially with Kiyomi. Between carrying her and switching off between her and the bag, we were WORKING for every set we made it to. 🫠

We definitely didn’t get to see everyone we wanted to because traveling through the mud was a whole adventure in itself, but we STILL had so much fun and got to see some of our favorites. 🖤🎶

Day one was messy, exhausting, muddy AF… but absolutely a memory. 🥹✨

A maternity session made even sweeter knowing just how loved and prayed for this little girl already was. 🤍

This was their miracle baby, and getting to document the season when they were finally waiting to meet her was such an honor. After everything it took to get to this moment, these photos hold so much more than a beautiful baby bump. They hold so much love, hope, and anticipation.

And the best part? This was only the beginning. I now get to capture their sweet girl’s entire first year and watch their miracle grow right in front of my camera. 🥹❤️

Just trying to make shimásání and shicheii (my grandparents) proud🖤🪶

I had the honor of walking in the 2026 SWAIA Native Fashion Show and to have opened for the only Diné designers’ fashion showcase. So much gratitude to @cut.n.tso for trusting me to open for his collection, “Kill the Indian, Save the Man.”

A powerful collection highlighting native presence and creativity to reclaim a phrase rooted in the attempted erasure and assimilation of native identity. We are still here, our stories are still being carried, and our identities cannot be erased when we continue to create and to remember.

I am honored to have been featured in the Navajo Times. This newspaper has been a staple thoughout my childhood, seeing myself in its pages feels like such a full circle moment, one I know younger me would have dreamed of.🗞️

This experience helped remind me who I am as a Diné woman carrying my identity, my culture, and my story with me wherever I go.💫

What if I told you the most devastating thing that happened to me this year ended up leading to so many unexpected blessings? Would you believe me? What once came to destroy and distort my life has now given way to healing, rebuilding, and expansion beyond my comprehension. I can’t say I always have days filled with gratitude, but I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the blessings with the same honesty that I’ve acknowledged the pain I’ve endured.

Got to work with the AMAZING @trina_jae_ the other day, alongside the incredibly talented @jshepkaphotography ✨

And when I say we created a little magic… WE CREATED SOME MAGIC. 🔥✨

Trina absolutely ROCKED this look. The outfits, the energy, the attitude, the glam… she showed up and understood the assignment. 💅🏽

There’s something so fun about getting a beautiful human in your chair, creating together, and then watching them step in front of the camera and completely COME ALIVE.
