RIP Travis 🕊️🤍

Sometimes people come into your life for a moment, a day or even a lifetime. It’s not about the amount of time spent but how someone can impact you in that time. 🤍

Travis and his wife - @brittjust_wbffpro reached out to me on INSTAGRAM in 2020 & asked me to hop on a zoom call with them. Guys - TBH - At first I thought 💭 oh no, what could they be trying to sell me. But guess what?! - I decided to show up anyways. What did I have to loose? On the call they told me their inspiring story & then asked me about mine. Towards the end of the call, they asked me to join them as a fitness influencer for their very first fitness retreat in Mexico. I was a novice to traveling so at first - I was very hesitant but after our call I felt this pull to go with them. As time passed - going to Mexico became more of a no brainer for me.

I called Trav a few short weeks later & told him, “I am in”! Next thing you know - I was on a plane to Mexico. While I learned a lot on this trip & met amazing humans who have impacted me even to this day. The reality is - I didn’t have anything to loose by taking that call & boy am I glad I did because the gain from knowing Travis is beyond measure.

Travis automatically loved MFH & my entrepreneurial spirit but little did he know I absolutely admired him & his wife, their kiddos and their successes!

I literally hung out with Travis for just a few days and it felt like I had known him for years. After Mexico we kept in touch & since his passing on 2/4 I have been listening back to the voice messages from him over the past few weeks. From my competition prep & coaching business, asking how daily life is going, to checking on me after I tore my ACL, & anytime I was absent from social for a bit he’d always check in.

This morning was Travis’s celebration of life & although I didn’t make it to Florida - I watched every second of it virtually. Travis you will never be forgotten. I’m so blessed to have had the chance to meet you. You were one of a kind.

Thank you all for your support with MFH it means more to me than you know. 🤍& huge shoutout to Travis for believing in me & for being such a force & huge influence in my life! by @makingfithappenbrand

We all know B&W are the most versatile but if you had to choose a sweatshirt which would it be BLACK or WHITE?!
