current & future radio presenters:🚨 WORKSHOP ALERT ⚡️!

@mary.mandefield and @jasminerowland_ bring you all you need to know to level up as a radio presenter. In this 90min online workshop, you’ll learn how to figure out your distinct sound, how to navigate the industry, and where to find paid presenting work. You’ll have the chance to ask questions and connect with other attendees- your industry peers!

Introducing your hosts:

Mary is the current early breakfast presenter on @hitsradiouk! She started on Riverside Radio and Westside, before hosting huge shows across BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and BBC Radio London. She’s now been on Hits Radio for 3 years

Jasmine is an experienced producer and presenter. You may have heard her taking over BBC Radio 1’s Soundsystem Party over Xmas. She now works across some of the UK’s biggest stations: KISS, Radio 1 / 2 / 6 Music, Hits and more. She’s also a live host, sound engineer, DJ and music producer!

I had the delight of going to a @makingmoves.uk event last night organised by @mary.mandefield at @bigchillbar.

I don’t live in London so it was a two hour journey each way (ideal time for a bit of podcast editing!), but despite the tedious travel time, I’m very glad I went.

I got to speak to singers, actors, radio hosts, film club founders, app developers, and even wood artists! Truly and eclectic and fabulous mix.

Oh em geeee what an evening!

Thank you for not letting the rain scare you off. It was pure sunshine and the loveliest of vibes inside the room. From raising your rates (hello DOUBLING YOUR PRICE) to trying something new (a Guinness World Record attempt is on the cards) we covered so much.
