Now it’s less than 2 weeks till the MUGB final - I still can’t believe that I’m a part of it. I’m always pinching myself thinking it’s unreal. My journey has been turbulent and volatile but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I’ve learnt so much about myself, what I’m capable of and the people in my life who truly care about me and have stood by me. These past couple of weeks my health hasn’t been the best, but I live by always being optimistic and that has gotten me to the stage I’m at right now. I’m super excited for the final and to see the amazing girls who have been going through this journey as well. Whoop whoop to Mal!🎉

From my genuine reaction when I received the acceptance email (depicted in the 2nd photo) to stepping into this moment with purpose…I am beyond honoured to be announced as a Miss Universe GB 2026 Finalist✨👑
This journey is about so much more than just winning. It’s about using my voice, standing in my power and representing women who dare to take up space; loudly, unapologetically and with heart. Women who lead with kindness, resilience and ambition, even when the path feels intimidating.
I am stepping forward not just for myself, but for every woman who has ever questioned whether she was ‘enough’. We are enough and we always have been.
This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited to use my platform to share my journey with you guys!💫

So that’s it MUGB is officially over! This past week has been an absolute rollercoaster. It’s been non-stop, emotional and just crazy all in all. I was beyond scared stepping into my first pageant but I am beyond proud to have completed it. Walking on stage was absolutely exhilarating and it filled my heart with joy. It was funny because throughout the week I got told lots of advice about pageantry and what people ‘tend to like’. Although I did listen to it, in the end I decided to not be conventional and just be unapologetically myself throughout the final. I had so much fun just not caring about anyone’s judgement and making myself and my friends and family proud. I had the most amazing support in the crowd who were always cheering for me and my perfect boyfriend @gtclomas staying with me throughout the week and that’s something I will eternally be grateful for. I met the most amazing, empowering and inspiring girls and I am so proud for @angelaaumonier 💜will be making a post about that later. Although this was my first pageant, it will also be my last. I enjoyed every minute of this process (walking on stage in a swimsuit like who would’ve thought I’d have the courage to do that ever) and for me, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I realised that getting up at 5am to do my hair and makeup, sort outfits, change outfits within 5 minutes in cramped changing rooms and to always be perceived as conventionally perfect wasn’t a lifestyle I can maintain forever. I will always be grateful to @paulaabbandonato and @danilatimer for giving me the chance to experience this and I will always be proud of myself for being a finalist this year. I would’ve never thought I’d be doing anything like this in my wildest dreams. I’ve had no previous experience, training or even any modelling experience but I know now that I will always continue to model and find chances to shine and be an advocate for causes I am passionate about💎No more pageantry for me, but an experience I will cherish forever and one that has shaped me for the better❤️ taken in The Riverfront by @mal.vijay_

I can’t even begin to tell you about this journey. I remember when I was stepping into the interview with the mindset that I was not going to get in but it was worth a try. 6 months later, I’m a finalist and I’m stepping onto the Miss Universe GB stage next week. It feels really emotional reflecting on my journey because it hasn’t been the easiest. I’ve gone through periods of not believing in myself, my confidence being knocked and always worrying about others peoples’ judgement or my lack of experience. However, after meeting all the amazing finalists, Danielle, Christina and Jess - the friendliest and most supportive people in the world who have been guiding me through and have been by my side., I can’t write this paragraph without crying😂I’ve learned who my real friends are and the people who have been by my side throughout this process. I’ve also learned that although there is something I live with that puts me at a disadvantage, I should utilise it as a strength and not a weakness. I’ve loved every minute of my journey and I’m super excited for the final; the sky’s the limit. For any of you who are struggling from a lack of confidence, you’re not alone and putting yourself out there and participating in something you would’ve never known was possible is the best way to get over it❤️ by @mal.vijay_
