Hej! Patricia Hernandez heter jag. Sedan årsskiftet har jag arbetat som kulturdoula inom tidigt föräldrastöd. Jag stöttar både familjer och ensamstående inför kommande förlossning. Med en bakgrund från Mexico använder jag många metoder därifrån. I dagsläget är jag den enda spansktalande doulan i hela VGR och det känns mäktigt och viktigt att få bedriva min verksamhet med rötter i min kultur. [COMING NEXT!] "Cat Deluxe at Night" by Elin Meijer & Mathilda Läckberg Holmquist 26 June – 25 July 2026 → Opening: 26 June 2026 → 17:00–20:00 *Beers courtesy of O/O Brewing Our summer exhibition is here! “Cat Deluxe at Night” brings together the practices of Mathilda Läckberg Holmquist and Elin Meijer in an immersive exhibition of photography and textile at NSFW, Gothenburg. Rooted in a shared photographic archive from 2009–2012, the project revisits the formative years of adolescence through previously undisclosed, private photographs that remained forgotten for years. Marked by the aesthetics and artefacts of the era, the exhibition moves through past and current relationships, fading memories and grand dreams. Paying homage to the intensity of youth, “Cat Deluxe at Night” flirts with the collective memory of teenage life while touching on small-town mentality, the weight of “Jantelagen”, tragicomedy, and kitsch. Through a seamless interplay of photography, textile and objects, “Cat Deluxe at Night” unfolds as an act of self-reflection. As you move through the preserved fragments of the artists' youth, you are invited to reflect on your own journey. What became of the grand dreams and goals you held back then? What did you leave behind, and what still lingers?
