When you’re using an extension color ring, are you picking up the hair and color matching from underneath, or are you just laying the swatch right on top of the head?

You want to match the swatch to their roots, mids, and throughout the ends. When you find the right match, it should disappear into their natural hair.

A good install isn’t just about how pretty the hair looks when it’s down. It’s about what’s happening underneath those wefts, too.
