Lorelei is a wiggly princess, survivor of backyard breeding, absolute love bug, and enemy of unstable chairs. Does she move without a sound? Absolutely not, she will knock your purse off the table and slip on the hardwood. Will she care? Nope! Nothing can phase this absolute babe.

Loves: snuggling at your feet, snacks on snacks, and napping a foot away from the dog bed. Loves our toddler and will playfully chase him. And she'd love a benebone sponsor, k thanks! And despite her unstable back legs, she loves going on walks and exploring!! She just went on a super long road trip with us (12 hours) and she had a blast!

Working on: hanging out with large groups of people, she prefers smaller hangouts or ones that aren't too rowdy. Potty training and going more regularly (she was definitely forced to hold her movements for long stretches so she doesn't always go when she actually needs to) is our current focus.

Tough times when the sweetest 5 year old 45 lb cow dog hasn’t received a single application. Damn shame because Walrus is a very good dog.

A few days ago we said goodbye to our beautiful, ancient, queen of the castle, Leela. She has been slowly losing weight as a result of kidney failure for a while and we are honestly surprised (and grateful) we had so much time with her. Once known for roaming the streets of KTown, she turned housecat, then found her way into my life with her younger brother Fry. Together they've kept me company throughout my entire LA journey so far, and she was the first animal (after Evie) who got to meet my kiddo. I'll miss her falling asleep on my chest, meowing for several cans of wet food a day and then only eating the top 1/4", the way her tongue would get stuck outside of her mouth, and the way she'd smack any dog that looked at her the wrong way. I hope there is a big sunny spot on a rug you're lounging in somewhere on the other side, and that you keep Evie, Buddy, and Gilbert company for us 🩷 by @mallenmelon
