What women experienced at Teach•Her:

A space to slow down and encounter God through prayer, rest, and community.

Together we explored themes of AWE through:
• Prayer walks and guided prayer
• Worship and contemplative prayer practices
• Teaching and meaningful group discussion
• Quiet space for solitude and reflection
• Fellowship with women who love Jesus
• Time in creation — hiking, horseback riding, and fresh mountain air
• Intentional hospitality, shared meals, and unhurried conversation
Women shared that the most meaningful parts were the depth of prayer, authentic community, and the gift of time to truly rest in God’s presence.

Teach•Her exists to create a set-apart space for women to be renewed in the Word of God, encouraged in community, and reminded of the awe of who He is. by @malloryjanebrown

Forty.

This little island has a way of slowing everything down. The tides don’t rush. The light lingers. The conversations deepen. Somehow, every visit gently reminds me that the richest parts of life have never been the loudest ones.

Forty years has taught me that what holds the greatest value can’t be accumulated, achieved, or hurried.

It’s found in an unhurried morning with Scripture.
A shared meal around a weathered table.
Friendships that have stood the test of time.
Children laughing with sandy feet.
The quiet faithfulness of God woven through ordinary days.

For so long, it’s easy to believe life is asking us to do more.

I’m beginning to wonder if it’s asking us to become more.

More rooted.
More present.
More attentive.
More willing to go inward so that Christ can continue His work outward.

As I step into the next several decades, my prayer isn’t for a bigger life.

It’s for a deeper one.

One marked by simplicity over excess.
Presence over performance.
Faithfulness over applause.
Wonder over worry.

This island has been a faithful teacher of those things.

And for that, I’m endlessly grateful.

Here’s to the next season—not chasing what fades, but becoming the kind of person who reflects what lasts.

There is something so special—and honestly quite rare—about stepping into a new community and feeling genuinely welcomed from the very beginning.

My cup truly overflows as I head into 40, and I’m so grateful to begin this next season alongside each of you.

What a privilege it has been to get to know these young men. The brotherhood they share is something special—deep, genuine, and a beautiful reflection of the kind of friendships God intended us to experience.

This season was about far more than wins and losses. It was about character, growth, perseverance, and relationships that will last long after the final whistle.
