We are up and running at the new workshop, though it’s a temporary setup and it’ll be under construction for a few months.
It might take a little longer for us to reply to your emails since we’ve got to keep building the shop.

The new address is Södra Promenaden 51, straight below the rock club Medley.

We’re looking forward to meet you all and your guitars there. taken in Malmö Gitarrverkstad by @malmo_gitarrverkstad

FINALLY done with my guitar!

I have a tendency to sometimes start what seems like a small innocent project, but then grows out of proportion. In this case I originally intended to buy an already finished True Temperament neck and put together a partscaster, but ended up kinda almost building a guitar from scratch, with custom made parts and everything.. And with a full time job, a band, and some freelance work on top I don’t really know why I thought that would be a good idea, but hey, two years later I’m pretty happy with the result!

HUGE thanks to @malmo_gitarrverkstad @niklasdahre @maxgalax who let me use their space, time, and expertise. Without them the result wouldn’t be nearly as good as it is! Extremely grateful! ❤️

And some specs for the nerdz:

Ocean Torquoise Metallic Nitro Cellulose over Sunburst
-Swamp Ash body
- @true_temperament Maple neck w/Caribbean Rosewood
-Bigsby B5
-Custom made bridge from @halon_guitarparts
-Lundgren Vertigo bridge pickup
-Lollar Vintage T neck pickup
-Dummy coil w/push pull for hum canceling
-Grover split shaft tuners

Time to go play some gigs with my band @guenna.music and start to beat this thing up! by @malmo_gitarrverkstad

If you want to hear a small amount of what I have to say about guitars in general , how it is to run @malmo_gitarrverkstad and play the bass in @liarthiefbandit and you’re fluent in Swedish please have a listen to when @folsterbrygger visited to allow me to do just that in an episode of @uggpodcast

The original ceramic pickups on this Fender Stratocaster made in Japan 1989 sounded very dull and muffled, but with this set of Lundgren BJFE pickups and CTS potentiometers it’s got a new life with shimmering treble and plenty of character.

In 2015 this Gibson SG Standard came with a height adjustable but in brass and titanium that unfortunately prover to be an invention that didn’t stand the test of time.
I replaced it with a marbled bone nut that not only works better but also looks quite stunning.

The perfect start to the day is a box full of Lundgren pickups.
Most of these are custom orders that’ll go straight into our customers guitars and basses but we also keep the most common models in stock and have guitars and basses loaded with Lundgren pickups that you may try before you decide what pickup to buy.

The shop is closed until 21st of March due to this adventure where Max is playing guitar with @satanicsurfersofficial and Niklas is working as guitar tech for @millencolin.
We’re also fully booked and will start making appointments for new jobs in the middle of April. taken in Porto Alegre by @malmo_gitarrverkstad
