It’s henna day! I mixed this up at 9am so it would be ready to use by 12 and I could let it sit in my hair until 6. It’s still currently on my head. I’ll rinse it in a couple hours

Today was a small workload because Mondays we do a lot

We started the morning with 30 min of reading. Iris read 2 stories to me from this book

Then we jumped into Math. We love Beast Academy! Iris has so much fun learning through this book

She did really good at the comparisons!

And such an incredible job at filling out the correct symbols! She did this entire page by herself and when I came back to check her work, she got every answer right!

She decorated her Anansi the spider hand puppet from the story we read yesterday in Language Arts. Then she put on a puppet show for us

Sat down for breakfast after getting all the school done. We started at 8 and finished at 10:30

Then we took her bird feeder to the park to hang it. She made it in Girl Scouts last night and was very excited to get it into a tree!

Afterwards, we stopped at the library and checked out a bunch of new books. When we got home we had lunch, played games, did chores, and read books. Just your normal things! And that’s a pretty typical day in our homeschool household

New glasses for fall! I love all these styles so much. The Cyprian glasses are bringing me back to the pair I wore in high school. Ryan says I look like a HS art teacher lol which are your favorite? @lensmartonline

Iris has so many special things about her. Her soul must have been crafted from pure love and rainbows. She has the rare ability to make every single person she meets feel loved and welcomed and like they own a piece of her heart. I feel so blessed to have been chosen as her mother. She reflects every beautiful part of me and shows me all the ways I can be better.
Iris is the kind of person who if she wants something, she will find a way to make it happen. I have doubt that whatever she dreams of will become her reality.
I can’t believe my little one is 6. The one who completed my transformation from maiden to mother. I’ve grown so much beside her. And I feel so blessed to be able to continue growing beside her for the rest of our lives. Iris is truly one in a million. And today she will be SPOILED because she yes, she deserves it.
I love you Iris. I’m so proud of you ♥️🥲 by @mamakendra88

I stopped using lash clusters bc they were ripping out my lashes, and started using a lash serum. Safe to say it’s working 😅 applying mascara is actually kind of annoying bc they’re so long. But I’m loving the brown instead of black. I actually think I want to try a red mascara and see how that looks

Today’s lesson took us 2 hours to complete. My daughter turns 6 next month, so the fact that’s she’s already doing part of a second grade curriculum blows my mind! I love that aspect of homeschooling, that I can cater certain subjects to her needs

Try this one next time if you want a little fall drinky drink. A redbull with green apple and brown sugar cinnamon. I know the caramel drizz looks like ogre bogies but it was good okay. @redbull Can you make this a canned flavor please?
