Small steps, big smiles. 🥹✨

We took our time at Universal Kids, brought our own snacks 🍓, let Emily explore at her own pace, and honestly… those little moments ended up being my favorite. 💕

She loved meeting Poppy from Trolls, the Shrek ride, splashing around at Bikini Bottom 💦, and simply being able to walk around and take everything in. At only 30 inches, we couldn’t do many of the rides, but that didn’t stop us from having such a fun mommy & me day. 🥹🫶🏼

I can understand why some people say it’s not worth taking really little ones, but as a local, I actually think it’s worth it! I wouldn’t travel across the country just for it, but I’d absolutely come back and would even consider a season pass. 🎟️

I do wish there were a few more indoor activities or shows for the littlest ones, especially when they can’t ride as much. But overall, it felt very family-friendly, with plenty of restrooms, first aid, food options, and lots of space to just wander. 🤍

For us, it wasn’t about checking every ride off the list. It was about slowing down, making memories, and enjoying a little mommy & me adventure. 🥹✨ taken in Frisco, Texas by @mamazelly_

🧜🏽‍♀️ This may be repetitive, but I am still day dreaming about Emily’s first birthday. My incredible friend, @tonirramirez , made it SUCH a breeze for me to enjoy her birthday while she took detail AND candid shots for us.

Let this be a sign to hire a photographer for your child’s birthday so you can seriously relax and not worry about if someone took the candid photo or not. This part of my brain was completely shut off, and I couldn’t be more thankful.

🛍️ Every we bought was less than $5, EXCEPT one item which was $10! Such a win today, and I ESPECIALLY can’t wait to read Emily’s new books with her. She wanted to take home a majority of those books 😂📚
