Altar of Fire | Metres Erzulie
Tanayiz Bertrand @manbosesa

One participant, who identified as a descendant of a Ayitian bloodline, reflected that despite having little familial knowledge of their ancestral traditions, they experienced a profound sense of belonging while standing before the altar. They shared that the space felt spiritually familiar, where feelings of fear and conflict were transformed into love, and described the altar as subtle in its architecture yet deeply reverent in its presence.

We got us is also the we of our current, our past and our future. Ase ooo

Come along as I explore a new path in my journey. It's really interesting being this vulnerable. I am not really a singer, I can hold some notes and do background vocals, but lead...yikes, we've got work to do lol, with that being said, I'm excited.

Let me know what you think

Swamp princess for a day!

The trees and the park carried an eerie energy. Felt like the trees had eyes and were watching me.

It was a beautiful space, and I didn't even get to walk the whole thing. It was huge.

I'll go back for a whole tour

While dancing, I was almost over taken by spirit, it was intense but it was beautiful. So much so that I had an emotional moment after it was all done. I'm so blessed and so privileged to experience all of this with all of you.

Thank you to the ancestors, spirits, and the water!!!
