Another proud mom moment. Lily provided the prayer this morning at worship. Another powerful moment in her journey.

It's been 9 months since her and Bella got baptized and gave their life to Jesus. Watching them grow in their faith and putting their trust in Him has made me a better person. I've learned so much from watching them.

The pastor always says to give Jesus a year of your life and see what it does. Is your life going to be any worse than now? In 9 months, our family has seen 3 baptisms, and a renewed faith. It's provided a new sense of meaning and purpose. It's brought new friends, many that we think of as family. It's brought clarity. It's brought peace. Long overdue peace.

Can't wait to finish the year of giving our life to him and to continue to see how our family grow. by @mandyc51

So proud of you Bella and the journey you have taken the last year. Watching you grow in your relationship with God has changed me. Moved me. I am a better person because of you and Lily. The connection you have made with new friends. Friends who you call family.

I was given strict restrictions of what pictures I was allowed to post and not post for your birthday.
