I had the honor of being a Maid of Honor for my best friend’s wedding and I couldn’t help but get emotional as I saw her marry the love of her life. Day in a life.. Summer edition. ✨

Decided to take a break and spend a day by the pool with my precious little people. Seeing them grow into their own little versions of themselves has been such a privilege. They teach me so many things and they don’t even realize it.

We as people often get sucked into our day to day lives and routines that we forget or even, feel guilty for taking time for ourselves to let go and be a kid again. I will forever be grateful for my little people for showing me life doesn’t always have to be so serious.
I pray God continues to send me love in forms l never even knew I needed. 🤍

Got to spend some time here on my family’s grounds, ate a lot of my favorite traditional foods, drank lots of morning and evening chai/ coffee, listened to my aunts and uncles tell old stories… and best of all, I fell in love again with my hometown. I can’t describe what it is that I loved so much because it’s everything and so much, all at once. It’s the colors, the sounds, and smells that make it feel so homey. This time around my perspective of life in the motherlands has truly made me appreciate some things I couldn’t before. The importance of community, the hustle of the men and women that wake up before dawn to provide for their families, and the selflessness and love everyone has. ❣️

I am so grateful for this past month in India with my family. 🇮🇳🪷

Always remember that your culture has the right to take up space in history and be passed on. Learn the stories and the tricks and the knowledge. Be proud of them. Examine the strength you hold within your bloodline for greatness. taken in Kerala, India by @mandyy_puli

mentally I'm here. laid up on the beach, the sound of the waves crashing into the sand putting me at ease. the warm light breeze is constant, sometimes rain. time doesn't matter, because I have nowhere to be and nothing to do. it's easy to ignore all the chaos and block out the noise here.
