Color & highlight service 🍦 covering greys & adding pops of light. I’ll usually foil or balayage. In this case we opt for balayage because her maintenance & grow out is blendy through each season.

Maintenance: I see her about every 3-4 months for a single root touch up & gloss. Sometimes we go 1 year until the next color highlight service. Mood dependent. taken in Blackbird Salon by @manebynono

Weekend reset in St. Michael’s 🍉🦪☀️🌽 we love this place so much. 12/10 would recommend resetting at the Wildset with your furbaby & lover. Love the staff & love the food.

🌸🌷 * not low maintenance * but so cute! Swipe for the original inspiration photo. Client wanted pink + mauve vibes.

I don’t normally do fashion color hair so don’t get use to this. But it was a nice change compared to my usual low maintenance girlies.

Color: roots: 5/45 w/ shade 5RV. Balayage : clay bleach + wild orchid vivids in between. Gloss: Shades 6VrO Mauve 🪻 by @manebynono

✂️ THE CUT.

A long time favorite cut of many clients. Can be worn straight or curly. Weight taken off near the neck to release tension. Weight taken out at the roots to boost volume. Layers that look soft & move well, air dries well & styles well. She’s an all star ✨ taken in Blackbird Salon by @manebynono

D.C to BROOKLYN 💿 Last Monday I had the privilege & opportunity to attend a curls unlocked class by Mahaila 🩷

I have been lacking joy & inspiration lately… in the realm of hair. Which is a truth and reality at times of being a hair stylist. I feel so grateful life crossed our paths again since beauty school & got to reunite with @codystock.hair too!! I needed this love, aspiration & ⚡️ SPARK! I wanted to love hair again & feel inspired for more… like when I first started doing hair. I am so excited to apply this knowledge on some curly clients. It’s so cool to support & watch your friends grow and flourish in what they love to do. I felt that spark from Mahaila. Thank you for an aaaamazing class.
