This is your sign to appreciate your hairstylist. 🖤 They’re your therapist, your surgeon, your artist, and most importantly, they’re the ones who make you feel like yourself again. Happy Hairstylist Appreciation Day!💐

Last night, we celebrated 5 years of Blackbird 🥳

Words cannot explain how grateful and lucky I am to be surrounded by the most talented and beautiful people. None of which would be possible without @hairbydevs and @jcarcolor

It’s been over 5 years when Devin and Justine asked me if I’d come work for them. Even then I knew their potential and I trusted them. Yes, they are great stylists. But what I really said yes to was their authenticity, work ethic, compassion, generosity, and of course: their kindness.

What an incredible space they built for us, and for all of our supportive clients. Going to work to me is going to my second home: a safe-space. I hope everyone in their lifetime is shown a love like this at Blackbird. It’s really magical.

Here’s to 5 years! 🥂✨

To be at @districtblackbird is to be home. To be loved, supported, fed, cup filled. Words can’t describe how much it means to be apart of a team like the one @hairbydevs & @jcarcolor have built.

I’ve always been grateful to love what I do as a hairstylist. But more so to do it in the safest of spaces, where your energy and peace of mind are fiercely protected. We always hope that our clients can feel that same energy when you walk in our doors.

To my clients, your commitment to us is the reason we are here. Being in the service industry is no easy feat but you make it worth it every time. Happy 5 years to my salon home, friends and clients.

Believe it or not, we’ve had clients bring in pics of their pups before, and honestly… we get it. Those golden tones are EVERYTHING. 😍😂
