Thank you Jesus ✝️ for God is far greater than I. Matthew 28:18-20

I haven’t really shared my testimony publicly, but I was raised in the church… I always considered myself to be a Christian, but for the majority of my young adult years I was not living very Christ-like. I was focused on all the things that the world could do for me and fulfilling the desires of my flesh.

I was miles away from home (figure of speech) when He called my name. I couldn’t ignore His call this time so I decided to start praying, get in the Word, and surrounding myself with like-minded people. The Lord has done some major renovations on my heart/mind and there is still much to do. Jesus died on the cross 2,000+ years ago for my sins and by His sacrifice, I am forgiven.

“Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭24‬ ‭

I am so grateful for the Lord’s hand over my life and for His unwavering love for His people. How blessed are we to serve such a loving Father. 🤍🕊️ taken in Union Church Charlotte by @manireynolds

There’s no simple way to sum up what true love is, but you know it when you see it. I’m so grateful to have been included in Jon & Trinity’s special day. Watching my friends get married was absolutely beautiful. Way back when Jon & Trinity first started dating, I knew they were endgame. You both are family and I am so excited for the incredible journey ahead for you two. Cheers to the Ashkenazy’s! 🥂🩵

This season with the @hornets & @thehoneybees was the realization of a dream I carried for years. A dream that survived multiple auditions, multiple disappointments, & more than a few moments of wondering if it would ever happen for me.

But I learned that multiple “no’s” do not mean “never”. What is meant for you will not pass you! This season was filled with incredible moments, challenges, and memories that I’ll carry with me forever.

There’s a line from the poem, The Man in the Arena, that speaks about the person whose face is “marred by dust and sweat and blood,” who dares greatly and shows up anyway. This season reminded me that the reward isn’t just making the team, it’s having the grit to keep showing up and growing as a performer & person.

Thank you to @anaohboyzee for taking a chance on me. It was an honor to be on your team. I’m so grateful for you!

To my teammates, thank you for every practice, game, appearance, laugh, & memory. The Honey Bee sisterhood is special.

To the younger version of me who dreamed about this moment…I’m so glad you never gave up.

This season was proof that hard work pays off, perseverance matters, & sometimes the dream you’ve been carrying for years finally catches up to you 😉

Forever grateful for the arena, the opportunity, and the sisterhood.

It’s time for the next big adventure…
