The Hive will be alive tonight as the Charlotte Hornets try to extend their season against the Miami Heat in the first game of the NBA's play-in tournament! Tipoff is at 7:30 pm EST with coverage on Prime Video. 🏀📺

The stakes are high for both teams as the winner will earn a chance to reach the playoffs on Friday while the loser's season will be over. The Hornets earned the right to host this one with five wins in the past seven games, but the Heat have a history of road success in the play-in tournament - in last season's 9th vs 10th East matchup, they eliminated the Bulls in Chicago, and then followed that up by eliminating the Hawks in Atlanta to reach the playoffs.

Charlotte fans are hoping that their players' shooting stroke is as sweet tonight as their Honey Bees dance team, but that is a high standard. Rookie HB Mani spent her college years in the Miami area performing with the Fly Girls dance team (the FAU kind, not the Pels). However, her loyalty to Buzz City is as pure as honey tonight. 🍯💯

Mani (pronounced "Maw-Nee") spent about six years auditioning before making her debut on the NBA hardwood this past fall; ever since then she & her squad have been showing the fans in the Spectrum Centrum such a good time that Drake is probably jealous. If the Hornets can get the dub this evening, she may or may not celebrate by going to her favorite restaurant, Ruby Tuesdays, assuming they stay open late. 😉🩵💜🐝🍯🏀💃🏽✨️
