What a special evening at Meany Center.⭐️

On Gandhi Jayanti ( Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary), I was honored to be part of a beautiful collaboration between Meany Center for the Performing Arts and the Consulate General of India, Seattle bringing Grammy Award–winning composer and musician Ricky Kej to the University of Washington campus.

Through a powerful combination of visual storytelling, live music, and an extraordinary ensemble of musicians, Ricky brought Mahatma Gandhi’s timeless ideologies of peace, compassion, nonviolence, sustainability, and unity to life in a way that felt deeply relevant today.

As a Meany Center board member, it was especially meaningful to see the arts create a bridge between cultures, ideas, and communities—and to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage in such a powerful way.

A heartfelt thank you to the Consul General of India Prakash Gupta , Meany Center, Ricky Kej and his incredible team, the artists, musicians, volunteers, and everyone who joined us to make this evening so memorable.

Here’s to more collaborations that bring art, culture, and meaningful ideas together. ⭐️ taken in Seattle, Washington by @manishaloves

The arts are the oxygen of a thriving society. Take them away, and everything else struggles to breathe. 🎨💃🏻🎵”

I'm honored to share that I've joined the University of Washington Foundation Board as a Representative Director, alongside my service on the board of the Meany Center for the Performing Arts.🙏🏽

At our new director orientation, I had the pleasure of hearing and meeting President Robert Jones.

Thank you, Lisa Simonyi Mary Gresch and the team, for such a warm welcome.

After 30+ years at the intersection of technology and social impact, here's what I believe: in an age of AI and rapid change, the skills the arts build (creativity, empathy, critical thinking) matter more than ever.

I'm grateful for the trust and excited to contribute alongside my fellow directors. 💜
