Yesterday's Out of the Darkness walk was emotional, exhausting, and painful. But it was also wonderful, beautiful, and such a community - one that nobody wants to be a part of, but there for each other nonetheless. I walked for my friend Sienna, who we lost last year to transphobia, and my friend Katt, who checked out a few years ago. But the rainbow halo around the sun for the full duration of the walk felt like every single person held in our hearts was there with us. So for anyone who ever feels like nobody would notice, nobody would listen, nobody would care... thousands of people lovingly disagree. If you're struggling, I'm glad you're still here. #outofthedarkness #suicideawareness #afsp #pleasestay by @mannycuredrag

This weekend, I'm taking some time to walk in the name of a friend we lost this past year. If you'd like to join me, in Sienna's memory or anyone else's, please do. If you're unable to, consider making a donation: https://afspwalks.donordrive.com/participants/3571262

Multiple friends of mine have checked out of life early. And while Sienna and I hadn't really continued our friendship to the same degree as it was in high school, it still hurts to see the transphobia that drove her to that conclusion. I'll be the first to admit that I will never fully understand the challenges that trans folks, ESPECIALLY trans femmes, face. But I will walk, I will contribute, and I will as always continue to listen and stand up for who needs it. by @mannycuredrag

See you in a couple weeks! It's dangerous in the heat, and we love our community too much to push it. I barely want to leave the house in shorts and a tank top, let alone in full drag 🫠 Now you get to help us wrap up a wonderful pride month together! #drag #dragking #showgirlshenanigans #mannycure #pride by @mannycuredrag

Get hype! The best evening market is back again at the end of this week (not a wednesday this time - friday primetime!) and your besties with Showgirl Shenanigans are performing once more. Shop with amazing local vendors, grab a drink at Naked Brewing while you still can, and enjoy the show we have planned for you, all on the gorgeous Bristol waterfront. (idk about y'all but I've been really into trinket trading recently so I'm gonna be frothing at the mouth for that after I dazzle the audience) #bristolaltfaire #showgirlshenanigans #drag #dragking #pride taken in Bristol Alt Faire by @mannycuredrag

Huge shoutout to everyone who attended my panel on crossdressing and loving women- I mean uh, the Takarazuka Revue! I don't often reach for my long wigs when I'm doing drag, but putting together an outfit inspired by various Der Tods over their history of producing Elisabeth The Musical felt appropriate. I love sharing my niche interests at Kogaracon each year, and I'm grateful to my friends there for putting on a wonderful event year after year. Stay tuned for some plans already in the works for 2027... 😘 #mannycure #mannycuredrag #cosplaydrag #takarazuka #dragking by @mannycuredrag

If you'll be at Kogaracon this weekend, swing on by to the Pride Corner at noon to talk Takarazuka! This panel is formed out of a research paper I did in college, so there is Actual Scholastic References in addition to how the otokoyaku archetype influences my style of drag. See you there! ✨#takarazuka #takarazukarevue #takarazukakagekidan #musumeyaku #otokoyaku by @mannycuredrag
