Three years of our Pride-A-Palooza. Our mission: Show up, support, advocate, and never wavier. Showing up is one of the most powerful ways we can support and advocate for our own communities and for the communities we support. So we did…and we continue to do so… 3-years of Pride events in June…. 🌈 2023: 20 Pride events 🌈 2024: 27 Pride events 🌈 2025: 21 Pride events 🌈 2026: 23 Pride events Now, this is just counting June….there are Pride events in May, July, August, and then there is LGBTQIA+ History Month in October. We show up there too. We are exhausted. Our sleep schedule is off. Our eating habits are out the window. Our skin is dry from the heat, sunscreen, and lack of hydration. All of this while we are still holding down full time jobs, family obligations, and every other day-to-day experience of anyone else. This isn’t for praise or accolades. In fact, that feels incredibly dismissive and infuriating. We are doing this because change doesn’t happen without discomfort, sacrifice, and loss. The Queer community is one of the many marginalized communities under consistent attack and threat of violence. I don’t want that to be my life experience for the rest of my time on earth. So we put this energy in to hopefully not have to do it at some point. But sitting back and doing nothing - not an option. And those are not the people in my life, community, or family. You don’t have to attend 20 events….it’s about showing up in the way that YOU decide and that is in YOUR capacity. So for now, we rest some between the continued events and prepare for Pride-A-Palooza 2027, where hopefully, we are not fighting the same fights and we finally see more progress. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ #Pride #PrideMonth #QueerPride #LGBTQIAPlus

Phenomenal time at the #newhopecelebrates parade today! Special shoutout to the gorgeous @ladyp.cock for keeping me from falling out the back of a dragon-filled jeep. It was so great to see friends from college, from the drag scene, and elsewhere! If I missed you come yell at me 💖 #dragking #dragkingsofinstagram #dragqueen #ladypcock #mannycure #mannycuredrag #dragroyalty #dragperformer #pride #pride🌈 #prideparade #pride2025 #showgirlshenanigans
