A long overdue post …

I am so excited to finally officially announce that I have joined @ebbjuniorballet company in France for the 26/27 season! This is a sad, messy, but full-of-love farewell dance with my Mama before we left for the airport. It was so hard leaving her and all my friends and family— even though moving to another country my senior year of high school to dance in Europe is literally a dream come true.

I’ve been here for over a month now, and I won’t pretend it’s been easy — picking up all the new choreography, and learning how to fully take care of myself. But that’s exactly why I’m here: to be challenged, to struggle, and to grow from it. Every rigorous day is teaching me something I couldn’t learn any other way. And through it all, I’ve been surrounded by the most wonderful people.

As my grandfather always used to say to my Mama: “let the adventure begin.” 🩰✈️🇫🇷 by @manon_the_dancer

Two weeks in stunning Copenhagen at the Royal Danish Ballet Summer Intensive. It felt unreal dancing in these historic studios — floors smoothed by centuries of iconic dancers who trained in that same space long before us. But it was all the new friendships that made it truly special — grateful for you all! 🩰🇩🇰#royaldanishballet #copenhagen #balletsummerintensive #pointeshoes by @manon_the_dancer

I have had the most amazing two weeks here in Amsterdam training with the @denationaleballetacademie So incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to come back to this intensive and train with the absolute best in these gorgeous studios! #dutchnational #dutchnationalballet #summerintensive #amsterdamcity #ballet by @manon_the_dancer

A belated post for the @lachsadance Junior composition show.

My piece was entitled “ My Barre “

Through this piece, I wanted to communicate the complex dynamics of the dance community — and nothing captures those dynamics quite like the unspoken war over barre spots.
Every ballet class begins at the barre, it is the great equalizer. The barre spot is more than just a place to stand. It’s a whole psychological ecosystem.

Many thanks to my family of incredibly talented dancers @olivia.stearns @syd2fierce @gabrielle_magnetta and the extraordinary choreographers we were lucky enough to work with over the years whose talent and visions still linger and inspire … @christopherhugginsdance @matthewrushing73 #lachsadance #chreography #contemporydance #contemporaryart #balletbarre by @manon_the_dancer

Such an amazing start to the summer…2 weeks training and rehearsing with @ebbjuniorballet under the direction of the incredible @jeanphilippe_dury followed by a quick break in the dolomites where I stumbled on a yoga room and couldn’t help but try the @maddwoo point shoe slide
