Twenty-five children are free. Earlier this month, our Ghana partner, Challenging Heights, rescued 18 boys and 7 girls, ages 6 to 14, from slavery on Lake Volta. All 25 are now at the Recovery Center, getting medical care, starting school, and meeting with counselors every day. Since January, Challenging Heights has rescued 144 children from trafficking and slavery in Ghana. The team on the lake is local, and they stay with each child long after the rescue. 100% of your donation provides care and education because private donors fund all our overhead.
