Any cat owner would know that it’s futile to try keep your kitties off kitchen surfaces or counters! 🐾 I think I gave up within the first month. 😂 We just regularly wipe down surfaces before we cook and clean! 🧼

🧡🎂 HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY, MAPLE! 🎂🧡

This year, you’ve adjusted in a new home, got your own backyard to explore, had more opportunities to watch birds, chased flies around the house, terrorised your cat sitter and lived at home for 3 weeks while we went on holidays.

Most of all, you make us smile with your silliness daily and we love you lots! xx

🧡 Hi friends, we just returned from a 17 day trip to Taiwan and Japan and it was the longest time we’ve been away from Maple!

We missed her dearly, and we were so thankful to our friend Sharon and our parents for looking after her, checking in daily for feeds and to keep her company.

Overall, Maple managed well without us, but she did give our visitors a hard time with her hissing and mitten attacks.

Thankful to see her healthy and happy when we returned, as if we have never left.

To anyone who’s unsure about leaving their pets for a longer holiday, here’s my encouragement to do it! Once you’ve planned well for your pet’s care, trust the people who will care for them.

I’ve learned that animals are more resilient than we give them credit for. It’s hard to be away from our pets because we love them so much, but we should also enjoy life and venture out for new experiences. 😊☀️

⭐️ have you been away from your pet for a long holiday? what was your experience like?

✨ Day 6 in our new home ✨

|| update || I’m so proud of how Maple has been adjusting to our new home! She’s slowly growing in her confidence and feeling safer to explore each day! She still gets spooked and slinks away, but overall being as brave as she can be!

🥹🧡

thank you everyone for all your tips and encouragement in the past 2 weeks!
