Let your breakfast pull the night shift so you don’t have to. 😁

This overnight Panettone French toast is one of those set-it-and-forget-it holiday breakfasts that lets you sip coffee, stay in your pajamas, and hang with your people instead of scrambling over the stove.

A cozy breakfast with zero chaos — now that’s the gift that keeps on giving. 🎄

𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐓𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐇 𝐓𝐎𝐀𝐒𝐓

Ingredients:
🍞 1 loaf panettone (about 1 lb 10 oz / 750g) from @danddmarket
🥚 6 large eggs (from @themodernmilkman )
🥛 1 cup milk (I used @oakridgedairyllc )
🥐 2 cups heavy cream or half-and-half
🧁 ½ cup sugar + extra for sprinkling
🍨 1½ Tbsp vanilla extract
🌰 2 tsp cinnamon
🧈 Butter for the baking dish (from @liuzzimarket )
🍓 Optional toppings: berries, powdered sugar, maple syrup, etc.

How to make it:
1️⃣ Butter a 9x13 baking dish. Cut panettone into cubes or thick slices and fit into the dish.
2️⃣ Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla + cinnamon. Pour over bread and gently press so it soaks in.
3️⃣ Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
4️⃣ In the morning, bring to room temp 15–20 minutes. Sprinkle top with extra sugar.
5️⃣ Bake at 350°F: 20 minutes covered + 20–25 minutes uncovered, until golden, puffed, and set.
6️⃣ Rest a few minutes, then serve warm with toppings.

Save this for Christmas morning or your next holiday brunch, and tag someone on breakfast duty.
