Hi! Stella successfully had her hernia closed. the hole was the size of a half dollar coin and her bladder was also adhered to her abdominal cavity. Yikes! She’ll be in hospital until Friday and then an additional two week recovery. Thanks for all your good thoughts and messages! ❤️❤️❤️I’ll be back with a regular Whatst up Wednesday next week. by @maptometry

So, the muscle that thinned out from the infection from the last surgery has unfortunately developed into a hernia requiring surgical repair. It must have opened up within the last three days because when I checked it last time it was still the small cavity. When we rolled her over to check at the vet this morning I saw right away she had a hernia. It’s about the size of a large thumb bulging through. We’re still at the vet getting ready to pull preop bloodwork and then get on the vets schedule sometime next week for repair. I feel so bad for my pup. by @maptometry
