The Journey to Becoming Eurydice ❤️‍🩹

This season with the Leipzig Ballet, my life changed completely. After getting promoted at the end of last season to the highest rank in the company, I know it was just a matter of time that I will get to embark on a challenging role. I just didn’t know it will be the role of my dreams. (A childhood dream that I thought I could never reach) I got my first female role ever in a new full-length called “Eurydice” by Fran Diaz.

I am so very grateful for this incredible opportunity. My whole life led me to this very moment and I could not help but feel so proud of myself. If I could tell little Marcelino an advise, I would say “To stay patient. Keep your head high. Stay grounded. Stay unapologetically you. And never stop believing in yourself as you are definitely walking (or running) on the right path.”🫂🥹

My heart is full and I owe it all to Fran. Thank you for gifting me “Eurydice”. A role that left a mark in my heart and changed my life forever.🫀

Thank you as well to @isiscalilde for your care and guidance. Thank you to @yunkyeong.l for your constant inspiration. Thank you to my Hades @0andrecarino0 for being there for me (on and off stage). Thank you to @yukino_ballet.n_n for literally and figuratively being my hope. Thank you to the entire team that made this all possible @yu.ra.yang @louthabart @keren.leiman @horror_vacui_horror_vacui @laural0we @aennie_who @natasadudar @re.my.fi @leipzigerballett @oper_leipzig 💕✨😘🤗

ANGEL OF YOUR DREAMS you say?🫦🪽

Went back to my Philippines roots for this year’s @leipzigeropernball ✨ (side note: my first time to ever wear a filipiniana ❤️‍🩹 the inner child in my heart is healing)

Your modern day Filipina woman dressed by @kulturafilipino 🇵🇭

Thank you so much to @claravisens for doing my hair! It truly made my “Maria Clara” meets Kylie Jenner in Victoria Secret Fashion Show fantasy come to life 🥹😍🥰

Jewelry by @harryberrynewyork (angel wings bracelet for this angel 😇)

Make up by yours truly using @kyliecosmetics (I had to live the full fantasy of Miss @kyliejenner of course 💕)

What a magical night! I had a ball. What else can I say?✨

The night started for me with @maltearkona calling me to center stage as he introduces me as the choreographer of “Grande Valse.” (With correct pronouns mind you 🏳️‍⚧️) I thought it was rather sweet to be acknowledged as such events, usually choreographers are just briefly mentioned, or just the name printed on a little side note on a program (if there was any).

Anyway, this particular dream ball choreography of mine had now, since last Saturday, had its 3rd re-staging. It’s become now sort of an Opernball tradition so to speak. (Thank you @re.my.fi for this wonderful opportunity 💕)

The beauty about tradition is, as the company goes on cycles, the dance itself, naturally grows. New faces, new spots for old timers. Costumes changing, hairstyles getting more creative, and even more jewelries being added on. Not to mention the lights are also evolving. Live music tempos are, like always, keeping us on our toes. Yet somehow, throughout all these little changes, we still manage to always keep this dance fresh. And how FRESH it was last Saturday night! I am incredibly grateful and oh so PROUD of my “Grande Valse” dancers. They pulled this in such a short period of time, yet the quality and artistry they gave — BRILLIANT. It was truly such a joy to see them! Thank you to each and everyone of the cast who showed up!!! And of course, thank you to my fabulous choreographic assistant @laura_costa_chaud 🫶🏽 My savior!!!🤭

You all continue to inspire me day in and day out and I cannot thank you enough for your performance at @leipzigeropernball 2026 😍❤️‍🩹🫂

I am one happy and grateful choreographer.🥹

Congratulations again and until the next ball!✨

The “Leipzig Siren” came out for a little bit at last week’s Ballroom Showcase & Queer Performance night TRUE COLOURS X RESIDENZ LEIPZIG 🫦

What a beautiful event that showcased the world of ballroom and an inspiring variety of queer artists’ performances. WOW! It was truly amazing that I had to go see it twice. Congratulations to everyone involved from the artists to the organizers!! Thank you for this incredible experience. Bravi to all of you!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Well, it’s official, I have entered the age group of “Sex and the City” 🌆

Thank you to all who took their time to wish me a happy birthday.🥹 I felt all the love, and I am so grateful.💕

Last night, I had a simple dinner with the close friends, and we laughed (a lot), had amazing food, and shared many stories. It was just like any other night, just dressed to the nines. I think Carrie would approve 😉
