Happy World Ballet Day!🩰 photo by @idazennaphotography

The night started for me with @maltearkona calling me to center stage as he introduces me as the choreographer of “Grande Valse.” (With correct pronouns mind you 🏳️‍⚧️) I thought it was rather sweet to be acknowledged as such events, usually choreographers are just briefly mentioned, or just the name printed on a little side note on a program (if there was any).

Anyway, this particular dream ball choreography of mine had now, since last Saturday, had its 3rd re-staging. It’s become now sort of an Opernball tradition so to speak. (Thank you @re.my.fi for this wonderful opportunity 💕)

The beauty about tradition is, as the company goes on cycles, the dance itself, naturally grows. New faces, new spots for old timers. Costumes changing, hairstyles getting more creative, and even more jewelries being added on. Not to mention the lights are also evolving. Live music tempos are, like always, keeping us on our toes. Yet somehow, throughout all these little changes, we still manage to always keep this dance fresh. And how FRESH it was last Saturday night! I am incredibly grateful and oh so PROUD of my “Grande Valse” dancers. They pulled this in such a short period of time, yet the quality and artistry they gave — BRILLIANT. It was truly such a joy to see them! Thank you to each and everyone of the cast who showed up!!! And of course, thank you to my fabulous choreographic assistant @laura_costa_chaud 🫶🏽 My savior!!!🤭

You all continue to inspire me day in and day out and I cannot thank you enough for your performance at @leipzigeropernball 2026 😍❤️‍🩹🫂

I am one happy and grateful choreographer.🥹

Congratulations again and until the next ball!✨

And just one show left for my cast that will take flight on October 2nd, 19:30 ✨

What a journey it has been 🥹

I’m not going to lie, it’s going to be hard for me to say goodbye with this program 🫂

I’ve learnt so much as an artist, and will treasure this chapter close to my heart.❤️‍🩹

Grateful for this whole experience ✨

Grateful indeed.☺️

However, I look forward to watching the other cast from front this Saturday 😍

(And I will also get to join the audience after their performance for a little Q&A discussion 🤭)

with my beautiful Hope @yukino_ballet.n_n 🫂💕

this scene is the hardest to go through as I am already physically exhausted by this point, but feeling everyone’s energy definitely helps me get through 😭❤️‍🩹

Last Saturday during our Open Doors, I was asked on the spot a question about the importance of the title role “EURYDIKE” ✨

I cannot elaborate enough the need of women’s voices to be heard. Especially more important now than ever!💕

Thank you to our boss @re.my.fi for giving me a sort of Miss Universe Q&A moment 👑 She took the space and platform — and I, thank you 😉

I am so grateful to be starting the new season with “Eurydike” ❤️‍🩹

A role that is embedded in my heart.🫀

Being a transgendered artist, it’s very rare to get a chance/role/creation that just fits you like a glove.

I definitely do not take anything for granted.🥹

I truly cannot thank enough all the people that led me to this point. To the choreographer Fran, to my director Remy, to every single person in the company that inspires me daily. Thank you.🫂

As we begin with EURDYIKE, I am beyond excited to embark on her journey again.😍

However, for 4 performance only. 2 in September, and 2 in October!😭

This is your last chance to go see this moving production!💫

I will be performing the title role of Eurydice on the 19th of September, and the 2nd of October.

So, what are you waiting for? HURRY and get your tickets now! 🎟️🏃‍♀️💨

I hope to see you all there as I take on this journey one last time. ✈️ ❤️‍🩹
