2025 • FACEOFF: Inside the NHL - "Johnny Hockey" (Amazon Prime)

I’m so deeply honored to have been part of the team trusted to tell the story of the Columbus Blue Jackets’ 2024–25 season after the heartbreaking loss of Johnny Gaudreau and his brother Matthew. Johnny wasn’t just a superstar in the NHL—he was the heart of his team and a hero to everyone who loved him. His family and teammates opened their doors to us during their most vulnerable moments so we could help honor Johnny, his legacy, and the incredible person he was.

What a ride the past year+ has been since I first started editing STANS. When you’re presented with a concept this bold and ambitious (and involving one of the biggest musical artists of our time in @eminem) the first thought is, “Where do I even begin?”

This film was all about embracing the process—being patient with the story, collaborating with the team, and trusting yourself. I’m so proud to have helped bring Steven Leckart’s incredible vision to life!

If you missed seeing it during its limited theatrical run, STANS will be available to stream on Paramount+ starting August 26.

For the past year I’ve been immersed in the life, the music, and the career of @eminem and have seen first hand the impact he has had on superfans around the entire world. He is truly an artist that transcends music and his ability to connect to people through his honest and unfiltered lyrics is extraordinary. To say it has been an honor being the editor and co-producer of ‘Stans’ is an understatement. To watch the world premiere at the inaugural SXSW London in a theater full of people… hearing them laugh, sing, and cry is something I will never forget. I’m eternally grateful to our brilliant director, Steven Leckart @leckart for trusting me with this film and writing a beautiful and genre-bending story, our co-executive producer, Claire Dagress @klarebear1214 for being an amazing partner as we tried to solve this crazy puzzle, our fantastic assistant editor, Shawn Hissami @juan_haunches who without, everything would have fallen apart, and many others!
