🚨Special project alert🚨 — I’m so honored to say I creatively contributed to Johnny Gaudreau’s episode of “Faceoff: Inside The NHL” (Season 2, Episode 2).

Johnny & I grew up playing against each other as 1993 AAA hockey players from NJ, and we even played together on summer teams in high school & college. (I’d say we were just acquaintances, although we are technically Facebook friends). Matty Gaudreau played on those summer teams too, and I got to film him & his Boston College teammates behind-the-scenes at the Beanpot, which is an experience I’ll always remember.

Being an undersized hockey player myself, I’ve looked up to Johnny since we were about 10 years old; he was always the best player on the ice at every level even though he was just as small as me, and he was the person I looked to as proof of what was possible… so naturally I was devastated when I saw the tragic news about Johnny & Matty in August 2024.

Thank you, Meredith Gaudreau, for allowing us to honor Johnny & share your story. I’m incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to work on this episode. #JohnnyHockey
