I absolutely love running. I get it now. The flow state. The magic of that crowd that keeps you moving. So incredible. I love my training but the marathon is next level. Riding the high three days later! by @marciaadick

Really happy with my run yesterday @runvictoriamarathon finished in 3:29:29 - personal best by over 8 minutes. Was a glorious day - started off cool but the sun was out full and almost regretted the tshirt but it also served me well… no chaffing. @bubbasnowboards ran a fast one - 3:15 something not his PB but for his 34th marathon I think he has peaked a while back.
Big thanks to the support along the course - Uncle James and Auntie Louise and Tony. My hydration and fuel strategy was bang on and couldn’t have done it without the 18 and 32 km water electrolyte bottles!
Rob started to feel excruciating pain about an hour after the run. Ended up in the hospital with Rhabdomyolysis (or “rhabdo”). He was reluctant to go but I’m so grateful that we did because it’s a very serious condition. by @marciaadick

Another proud mom moment. Sasha Dick made sourdough all by herself yesterday. Just a little help showing her how to shape the loaves. Turned out amazingly delicious. by @marciaadick
