Hello, and thanks for the follow 👋
@roomforcomics is one-of-a-kind’ comics and cartoon art studio based in the heart of glorious Macclesfield. We are passionate about growing creativity, imagination and most of all confidence through our regular cartoon art workshops for children starting from 6+, teens and young adults.

GOOD TO KNOW ⬇️
Cartoonist @marcmakescomics hosts TWO regular monthly sessions, first up… LET’S DRAW!* Saturday Cartoon Art Club (2-3pm) held on the first Saturday of each month, then we have SUNDAY FUNNIES!* Sunday Cartoon Art Club (11-12.30pm) held on the last Sunday of each month. Marc brings a wealth of comics and comic art experience and a fun, playful spirit to each session, ensuring that every child feels relaxed, inspired and excited to create.
*Both sessions are suitable for children aged 6 and above.

WHAT TO EXPECT ⬇️
- FREE FLOW CARTOON ART FUN:
Our sessions are all about creativity without constraints. We encourage children to let their imaginations run wild and express themselves freely.
- BACK TO BASICS:
We focus on fundamental drawing techniques, but with a twist! There are no rules here, just pure, unfiltered cartoon art fun.
- ZERO PRESSURE:
Whether your child is an aspiring artist or just starting out, our relaxed atmosphere allows everyone to draw at their own pace, fostering free-flow creativity, confidence and enjoyment.

Tickets are released monthly, on the following Monday after each workshop. Booking links in bio.

NOW THAT’S HANDY ⬇️
Parents/Carers/Adults: You are welcome to stay and watch the fun or, drop off and grab that coffee from the delicious bakery @_flourwatersalt just downstairs.

ALSO GOOD TO KNOW ⬇️
In addition to our regular drawing workshops, we host special events featuring guest AUTHORS, CARTOONISTS, ANIMATORS and CREATORS who share their expertise and unique perspectives on the world of comics. Our studio also offers a diverse selection of captivating comics and comic books for those looking to explore the fascinating world of comic-art.

Want to know, please get in touch: email: yowsa@marcmakescomics.co.uk

Saturday 17th October sees the first @macclesfieldtc Coffee Festival, celebrating the growing community that world encompasses here in our town. I’ll be set up outside my fave coffee spot, and @roomforcomics neighbours, @_flourwatersalt drawing crazy coffee related cartoons for customers and passers by. The drawings are FREE and on a first come, first served basis!
I’ll also have a few funny books with me, which go super well paired with a cheeky coffee!
See you there, friends!
