A toothache resulted in a chance meeting with a great Monroe student. Ran into Vanessa Delosantos, a current Monroe U health care services student at NYC endodontics! She came back to school as an adult and is taking a full time load online. An impressive person! taken in 515 Madison Avenue by @marcmjerome

It’s a small Monroe world! Ran into these two Monroe grads while we were all attending a “Western” themed wedding rehearsal dinner in Eastern Long Island. They met at Monroe as international students—one from Jamaica, the other from Guyana — and eventually married. Both are doing great living in Brooklyn. taken in Topping Rose House by @marcmjerome

Today was a very special day. @foodandfinancehighschool has done a tremendous job getting the class of 2026 to the finish line. This school holds a very special place in my heart as I was blessed to teach a class here about two years ago. So happy to see five of my former students cross the stage. I feel like I’m part of the school’s family as 3 Monroe graduates went on to become chef teachers at Food & Finance. I also want to give Principal Amber Ventura her flowers for doing a great job with these students. Congratulations Class of 2026. 🎓🎉 taken in Food and Finance HS by @marcmjerome
