I love this image of “In Memoriam” and the positive impact of negative space creating the shadow that becomes the subject.

Summer is fading fast. I’m recovering at home, while this piece is enjoying the salty breezes in Naples, Florida. If you are fortunate enough to make it down to Naples stop in @quidley_and_co and get a closer look at the chart details in this sculpture. by @marcpetrovic

Paused work on the DiStilled life bottle collaborations with Kari to make this piece I’ve had in mind for awhile.

It’s a variant on my find & seek pieces. It’s heading to Naples for a Sweets show Quidley & Company.

New directions are always an emotional roller coaster. Love it one minute, question everything the next. Lots of cold working, enameling, and hxtal. by @marcpetrovic

Nice to know after 35 years of working with glass, I still got room to do some stupid shit that I should have known better. Live and learn. Get old, forget, learn again. Shelf cracked. Needed to work. Bolted through it. Expansion…contraction…Kari telling me it might be problematic. Momentary success. Ultimately failure. These are the seasons I live by. Doh! by @marcpetrovic
