A new marathon PB for XMiles athlete, Marc Scott, at the Amsterdam Marathon.

Running 2:10:14, Marc improved his previous best by more than a minute, continuing a strong run of form and progression over the longer distance.

With a straightforward race-day strategy built around Maurten Drink Mix 320 in each bottle and a Gel 100 CAF at 20km.

A huge performance and another exciting step forward in Marc’s marathon journey. by @marcscott21

@marcscott21 runs a new PB in Amsterdam ⚡️

Scott clocked 2:10:14 at the Amsterdam Marathon over the weekend, taking more than a minute off his previous best of 2:11:19 set in London in 2024 🇬🇧

Brit Jonathan Escalante Phillips was not far behind, also running a PB of 2:13:20 🔥

Amsterdam Marathon - 2:10:14 PB

Wanted more but back healthy and racing a distance which was a long way off a few months ago.

Thanks to all those who have got me back to this place. Second marathon in the bag. Excited to get back on the horse, run more miles and build for the next one!

Cheers🙌🏻

Final long run done… next stop AMSTERDAM!

After a 2.5 year hiatus I’m looking forward to lining up for my second ever marathon in a couple of weeks time. Had some decent sessions on this path recently and wanted to share a few:

30k of 6k—2k @ 3:15–3:02
30k of 10k—5k @ 3:17–3:00
32k of 4k—4k @ 3:16–3:02

Excited to see what race day brings and thanks to the host of people who have got me back to this point! Let’s dance👊🏼

Congratulations to XMiles athlete, Marc Scott, on a strong performance at the Great North Run.

In a high-quality field, Marc finished 8th in 1:02:10, crossing the line as the first British athlete and securing another top-10 finish on one of the biggest stages in road running.

His race preparation followed the same tried-and-tested approach as previous events, using Maurten Drink Mix 320, Maurten Drink Mix 320 CAF, and PILLAR Triple Magnesium as part of his wider routine.

Another positive step forward as he continues to build back towards his best. by @marcscott21

Back on the Great North start line! Best race in the world👊🏼 Pleased to be top 10 and first Brit today. Finding my way back to my old self and enjoying the process! Excited for the next few weeks.
