Post travel / last week of Summer adventure log:
-2 nights mixing the Spits at the clock out lounge, 1 with Sux, 1 with Suprrr Powrrr
-Frog gazing with Gareth
-3 consecutive days of kayaking: 1 with Jackie at the Arboretum, 1 w Kevin sunset at Golden Gardens, and 1 w Jody at Larabee state park
-Splashing at Mercer Island with Ichi and Bowie

This was a terrific summer, and the Autumn is looking super fun as well.

Whirlwind 72 hours of my musically adventurous life:

1 Flew to ATX to mix the glorious SPACEMOTH at the 13th Floor for Levitation
2 “you’re gonna miss me” warm up cue
3 space ship mission control
4 fantastic synchronized homie dj set
5 got up at 7am after the show for a 3 hour road trip to memorialize Jen father and have a love filled family moment
6 güs and jin jin 🪿
7 fantastic Justine’s dining
8 swung by ye ole hawk for a visit
9 cheer up preshow hang
10-13 back to the 13th floor for more levitating and space travel with Sam or Astro-Sam and crew
14-19 6 am flight back to Seattle to mix and party with Telehealth at RDay, and watch Kendra live a dream of firing a tshirt cannon while dancing with a giant Rainier can onstage with her dearest homies.

All that activity on roughly a few hours of naps, deep love and sheer will power.

Final phase of my west coast journey landed me in the “Hospital of Emotions” with my dear pal Cole🐝Wilson.
An abandon hospital repurposed into a multi floor art installation exploring human emotions and its connection to wellness. We were successfully discharged after cycling through some deep thoughts.

Just wrapped up a 10 day west coast music adventure with La Luz!
Started with spacemoth, and ended with 3 nights of @marin_guero and 1 eclipse with @destrends in the Mojave desert.
So many fun moments, chill times, goofs, joints, great foods and visiting/crashing with lovely people.
Made some new friends and wonderful memories.
Twas an honor and a privilege. Heart full of gratitude. by @marcusabogado

Those that know me well will understand how excited I was to discover that @pickathon, Portlands vibrant music festival, which I attended this weekend to make the most excellent @thebandmercury loud, was friggin FROG themed! The Grove stage that we ended on, had a giant reclaimed vw beetle frog sculpture over the drum kit. I was smitten and I bopped its tongue!
Frog art and sculptures were everywhere!!!

I attended last year rockin out with the mighty @j_r_c_g and decided I must go back with Jen. It was a great choice.
If you have not been, go next year. It’s like no other camping fest. Wonderful community effort, and they treat their performers and workers with so much love. I’ll definitely go back next year!

My favorite music discovery was @oracogan.

JCoop and I just returned from an action packed, goth holiday / west coast staycation / exploration of the greater bay area:
3 days in Oakland,
2 in Yosemite
1 in San Fransisco
We experienced incredible bars, super old book stores, classic diners, a century old theater, a quirky music venue, a beautiful crematorium library, nature spots galore, walked 100,000+ steps, and even managed to visit some pals.
