Omg what a dream of a night at Joe’s Pub! It was such an honor to be on a bill with 10 other incredibly talented artists. Moon Mayo and I are teaching songleading for protests on Oct 6th and the class is online and FREE at 7pmET! This workshop will cover how to use songs as de-escalation, how to depict the melody with your arms, how to lead with intention and emotion, as well as different rhythmic techniques for song leading. We will teach songs that go between different issues so people can make the connections between I*ce and what's happening in Pa*estine. We'll also teach a very easy way to write songs, and in small groups we'll make up our own short protest song that you can then take with you to the streets.
