30 Days in the Dark. 🌑🇫🇮🤝🇪🇪 Feature grade for Täydelliset vieraat (Perfect Strangers). Based on the world-record holding Italian script Perfetti Sconosciuti, this film is a masterclass in tension. Our job was to make that pressure visible. DP Anssi Leino and I spent a month in our Tallinn suite dialing in the look, then traveled to Helsinki to stress-test the DCPs in theaters. The goal? A rich, cinematic scope image that honors the practical lighting while the secrets spill out. Huge shoutout to the incredible cross-border crew between Finland and Estonia! THE TEAM: 🎬 Dir: Rike Jokela 🎥 DP: Anssi Leino 🎨 Color: Margus Voll CSI, ICG (Icon Studios) ✂️ Edit: Jussi Lehto POST & VFX (Estonia): 🖥️ Supervisor: Priit Pääsuke (Luxfilm) 👾 VFX: Studio Grafik (Jaagup Metsalu, Erik Heinsalu) 🔊 Sound: Indrek Soe 💡 Gaffer/Grip: Kalle Penttilä, Jako Krull #PerfectStrangers #TäydellisetVieraat #PerfettiSconosciuti #ColorGrading #DaVinciResolve #Filmmaking #Cinematography #EstonianFilm #FinnishFilm #VFX #StudioGrafik #Luxfilm #IconStudios @rikejokela @anssialeino @lucylovesdramastories @menufilmid @antilanmarko @oskarihuttu @anuveermae @jaagupmetsalu @highvoltagerental @jakokrull @indrekson by @margusvoll

No secrets... except in the shadows. 🤫 Proud to share the final grade for the feature film Täydelliset vieraat, the Finnish adaptation of the legendary Italian script Perfetti Sconosciuti. The Workflow: This was a massive collaboration. Over 30 intense days, we worked side-by-side with DP Anssi Leino here in Tallinn. We didn’t just trust the monitors—we flew to Helsinki to test the grade on the big screen, ensuring the dark, intimate lighting held up perfectly in theaters. Swipe ⬅️ to see the mood. A massive thank you to our Estonian/Finnish partners: CREATIVE: 🎬 Director: Rike Jokela 🎥 DP: Anssi Leino F.S.C. 🎨 Colorist: Margus Voll CSI, ICG ✂️ Editor: Jussi Lehto PRODUCTION: @lucylovesdrama (Marko Antila, Oskari Huttu) Co-Pro: Anu Veermäe-Kaldra (@menufilmid) 🇪🇪 ESTONIAN TEAM 🇪🇪: VFX & Post: Priit Pääsuke, Jaagup Metsalu, Erik Heinsalu, Siim Raud, Jüri Unt Sound: Indrek Soe Lighting/Camera: @highvoltageestonia (Jako Krull, Rein Pruul, Markus Orav, Piret Krustok) Art/Props: Enelin Estelle Grau, Katharina Kuusemets #PerfectStrangers #TäydellisetVieraat #PerfettiSconosciuti #Colorist #DaVinciResolve #FilmProduction #Cinematography #Scope #Anamorphic #EstonianFilm #FinnishFilm #CoProduction @rikejokela @anssialeino @lucylovesdramastories @menufilmid @antilanmarko @oskarihuttu @anuveermae @jaagupmetsalu @highvoltagerental @jakokrull @indrekson taken in iconstudios.eu by @margusvoll
