Today (9th of December) 9 years ago I released my first music video for “Melyse” with EMI Finland. This beautiful visual was made with an amazing team. “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts” said Aristotle and if there is anything I’ve learned the last 9 years, its the power of teamwork. I was so so so lucky to have amazing people at my side with music, visuals and management- at a time when I was generally pretty oblivious. Big shout out to @andzei.director , @_vanaisa_ and the team ( tagged! )

9 years later I am living in London (which is something I always dreamed of doing). Just had my first BBC1 radio play with @nighttapesmusic (by Annie Mac, which is pretty awesome, another bucket list thing) and I feel that everything is going in the right direction even though I did not expect my life to take the turns it has taken. In some ways I feel like I’ve come a huge circle. “Iiris”was a band effort and could have never been just me. I was sooooo lucky to have amazing musicians around me who are all now smashing it in their own respective ways in different projects ( @sethhsound , @iwearexperiment, @l_e_v_s_k_i_ / @gramoffun ) .

I am continuously lucky to have super talented like minded individuals around me with whom to make music with. I am always writing for IIRIS as well (and honing my individual talents in order to progress and add to the whole) but right now I’m just ultra excited to share my latest efforts in crafting songs and videos.

My latest EP with @nighttapesmusic called “Download Spirit” is out and listenable through various streaming platforms. Link in bio✨✨✨
