Meet our ambassador, Maria, from Englewood.
Upbeat, driven, and coming into 2026 with big goals. She’s a 1:19 half-marathoner and 2:51 marathoner, chasing PRs on both sides and not afraid to go after it.
She brings a strong presence on Instagram and is all about creating a positive running environment. For her, racing is about finding that perfect balance between fun and competition. She’s planning to race the Half Marathon in Albuquerque, with family there to support her every step. Outside of running, she’s an Occupational Therapist working in a neuro-rehab hospital, helping patients reach their goals every single day. That mindset carries straight into her training and racing.
Goal this year. Break 1:19.

Machu Picchu was absolutely the MOST epic finale to our Salkantay Trek! The Incans truly created a wonder (of the world!)

The Salkantay Trek - Route to Machu Picchu!
37 miles, 3 days, y muchas montañas including this crystal clear view of Mt Salkantay! We reached the Salkantay Pass, our summit of 15,200ft on the first day. We slept in a sky dome, had a coffee experience, trekked through the rainforest, & even ran from Hydroelectrica to Aquas Calientes!
The big lead up to see one of the 7 Wonders of the World 🌎 was well worth it!
Carlos, Jacinto, y los caballos maravillosos made this one incredible journey! Gracias @salkantaytrekking !
