Meet our ambassador, Maria, from Englewood.
Upbeat, driven, and coming into 2026 with big goals. She’s a 1:19 half-marathoner and 2:51 marathoner, chasing PRs on both sides and not afraid to go after it.
She brings a strong presence on Instagram and is all about creating a positive running environment. For her, racing is about finding that perfect balance between fun and competition. She’s planning to race the Half Marathon in Albuquerque, with family there to support her every step. Outside of running, she’s an Occupational Therapist working in a neuro-rehab hospital, helping patients reach their goals every single day. That mindset carries straight into her training and racing.
Goal this year. Break 1:19.
Welcome to the team, Maria. Let’s go get it.

This team has taken shape one run, one season, and one teammate at a time. 💜

Some of the faces have changed.
But the mission hasn’t.
To show up.
To support one another.
To chase fast miles, bold goals, and a bigger vision for women’s running in Colorado. 🌄🏃🏼‍♀️

This team isn’t just who’s wearing the kit right now.
It’s everyone who’s ever shown up.

We’re proud of what we’ve built.
And even more proud of where we’re going.

🖤 Thanks to everyone — past and present — building DMR. 🙏🏻

From Sweden to Colorado, we raced hard, cheered harder, and built some serious momentum this spring 🖤

PRs were smashed, podiums were claimed, and we definitely left a few gels behind along the way 💀

Now? We’re locking in.

🏁 Chicago Marathon — we’re coming for you.

Expect tempo tantrums, sunrise long runs, and a whole lot of good energy.

💙 Big shoutout to @fleetfeetden for keeping us geared up, and @physioroomco for keeping us running strong.

Happy Global Running Day! 🌍👟

We celebrate the miles that brought us together—the early alarms, the finish line sprints, the post run pancakes, and everything in between. 💜

On this #GlobalRunningDay, we’re celebrating our teammates, our supporters, and our amazing partners like @fleetfeetden and @physioroomco who keep us training strong.

Wherever your feet take you today—do it with joy.

Ring that PR bell! 🔔🚨‼️ 2:51:10

@mariamlm2 ran an amazing 26.2 at @stockholm_42195 this past weekend! Maria had a strong race-filled training block leading up to race day. Course was hilly and tough but Maria was tougher and earned herself a shiny new PR! Great momentum and fitness as she gears up for @berlinmarathon this fall. Way to go, Maria! 👑

All the support and resources from our partners @fleetfeetden @physioroomco . THANK YOU!
