Earlier this fall, we were honored to send four incredible members of our team to the Goldie Gala, an inspiring evening celebrating women leaders and the power of mentorship. It was a beautiful night filled with remarkable women who are passionate about supporting, teaching, and lifting one another up. We’re proud to have some of our own leaders represented at such a meaningful event.

Frank Mariani has stood behind the Goldie Initiative for years, and we're thrilled to stay true to that commitment. Investing in the women who will lead our industry tomorrow isn't just something we support--it's something we believe in. #marianilandcape #WomenLeaders #WomenInBusiness #GoldieInitiative #CommercialRealEstate #frankmariani by @marianilandscape

Yesterday, over 500 home and garden enthusiasts visited one of Mariani Landscape's properties tucked into the heart of Lake Forest, Illinois. We designed and built this particular gem over twelve years ago, and we've been taking care of it ever since. The Spirit of 67 Home & Garden Tour supports student opportunity in our home town, and we couldn't be happier to support that mission, too. It works when we all play our part. Here's to our garden tour hosts, The Spirit volunteers, Board and every enthusiast who made it out yesterday. Walk on. #MarianiLandscape #LakeForestIL #HomeAndGarden #SpiritOf67 #lakeforestsd67 #Lakeforestlove by @marianilandscape

Mariani Landscape was thrilled to host our Garden Walk of Winnetka this week under seasonably cool fall fall skies. Dozens of clients and friends saw the amazing work of the Mariani Landscape Architects, the craftsmen, and the caretakers who work relentlessly to keep our properties looking beautiful through all the changes of the season and of life. Thanks to our client hosts for making it possible and to all our clients and friends who turned out for the event. Inspiration abounded. And now, the walk through the garden continues. On to the Spirit of 67 Home and GARDEN Tour! #marianilandscape #frankmariani #gardenwalk by @marianilandscape

Mariani Landscape was thrilled to be a part of the vision that began months ago to honor the memory of former Cherokee school student Becky Bell. We were asked to reimagine the garden created in her name that had fallen into disrepair. Our Natural Areas Specialist, Dr. Judy Schlegel, and Landscape Designer, Jeff Johnson, collaborated to create a space that will not only attract pollinators, but will inspire students for years to come. Thanks to Jen Fiocco for the initial idea and to Cherokee Principal Kim Rutan and and the entire Cherokee School family for the privilege of coming alongside to create something meaningful and lasting. And most sincere gratitude to the multitude of committed partners including Gardening2Grow, the Spirit of 67 Foundation, the LF Junior Garden Club, and all who attended today.#marianilandscape #lakeforestsd67 #spiritof67foundation #gardening2grow #lfjrgardenclub by @marianilandscape

Saturday morning, Kelly C of the Mariani Landscape Garden Team was back at Pasquesi Home & Garden showing how autumn containers are done. Working with three different planter shapes, she showed her audience how to plant and shift materials for the size, shape and location of the container. Audience members were able to purchase the same materials as those that were presented right at Pasquesi, making it even more possible to take their learning home and bring it to life. But please—don’t leave fall color in the hands of the amateurs. If you haven’t been properly trained and you are in need of the best fall seasonal color in the business, give Mariani a ring. We’ll bring the color to you. #marianilandscape #pasquesihomeandgardens #fallseasonalcolor by @marianilandscape

Savoring these last days of summer. On Lake Michigan, summer has a way of becoming the gathering place for family and friends—the long days, the water, and the ease of being outdoors together.

For Shoreline Reflections, we wanted the architecture to embrace that way of living. The home stretches along the lakefront, with outdoor spaces sculpted as carefully as the rooms within—each creating a different way to experience this very special place.

KAITLIN'S KITCHEN has launched. Saturday morning in Waukegan, the family, friends, co-workers and students of Kaitlin Schaumberger honored her memory and saw to it that her legacy will continue into the future with the ribbon-cutting and official launch ceremony. It is the culmination of years' of work, a vision brought to life by many, starting with Michael, Tarali and Alison Schaumberger, and John Lewis Middle School Head of Botany & Food Forest Program, Brian Greene. Dozens were on hand to welcome the hands-on food education game-changer to the community , including Waukegan Mayor, Sam Cunningham, and 10th District Congressman, Brad Schneider.

Mariani Landscape was thrilled to come alongside Crimson Design & Construction and Rolling Hills Nursery, providing the landscape design and installation to bring the Kitchen project to the starting line for this beautiful launch. A special shoutout to Art Brueggerman and the two crews who showed their true Mariani colors--Miguel R, Reymondo M, Jonathon M, Luis S, Arturo M, Juan Jose A, and Parker S.

A labor of love for so many, indeed.

Keeping the lake blue isn't just a local rally cry--it's an action item for Mariani Landscape.

Here's an example how you can have a beautiful lawn punctuated with a stunning pollinator garden. It was designed to be a bank stabilizer composed of plants with sturdy root systems, a vegetative filter that keeps impurities out of the lake, and a pollinator habitat that makes the birds and the butterflies happy. And ask anyone on the lake path--it's an absolute stunner to look at.

THIS PROJECT WAS PLANTED JUST ONE YEAR AGO. That means you could have a garden that looks like this one year from now. Talk to the people who know exactly how to do this, like Lucas and Jeff from the Mariani Landscape team. The birds and and the butterflies will thank you.
