Lovely memories from our shoot for @philippavinecooking ‘s book SUMMER at Hope Gap, barbecueing fennel-brined chicken and courgettes from Philippa and @michaelvine.farmer ‘s garden. Shooting the whole My Seasonal Kitchen series was fun, but this day was our first proper location shoot, and took a fair bit of organising. Video by co-photographer @mariestone2213 and an extra pair of hands kindly provided by Philippa and Michael’s nephew Guy.

One of my favourite summer jobs, podding broad beans & then simply cooking them, adding a few herbs. Lots of summer recipes & ideas from my ‘Summer’ cookbook @otherwisepublishing which is available to buy in my bio 💚#myseasonalkitchen #summercookbook #summer #essecooking #broadbeans by @mariestone2213

A fresh new look for our Body Stress Release couch ✨

After plenty of sessions, it was time for a cover change, and thanks to Emma’s help, our couch is looking refreshed and ready for many more releases ahead.

One of the real joys of being a Body Stress Release practitioner is receiving BSR as well as giving it. Chris and I are fortunate to work from the same practice, which means we regularly exchange releases and experience first-hand the benefits of this incredible work.

We never take that for granted. There’s something very special about supporting each other, learning from each other, and helping our bodies stay adaptable and responsive so we can continue supporting our clients.

Feeling grateful for this partnership, for Body Stress Release, and for the opportunity to do work we genuinely love. 💚

A big thank you to Chris and the team @giddygrocer for hosting a Saturday book signing for @otherwisepublishing author @philippavinecooking ‘s first book in her ‘My Seasonal Kitchen’ series, SUMMER, at her gorgeous Bermondsey Street shop in London.

Giddy Grocer is an Aladdin’s cave of delicious things to eat and cook with: locally grown vegetables and herbs, teas, artisan breads and cheeses, and all kinds of bottles and jars of wonderful storecupboard ingredients as well as stunning homemade cakes and sandwiches. (When in season, you’ll find early cropping rhubarb from Philippa and her husband @michaelvine.farmer ‘s farm in East Sussex.)

With values very much in tune with Philippa’s - eating local produce, in season - the shop was the perfect venue to promote the book. Lots of lovely exchanges were had with regular customers and passers by, despite the weather being rather more typically British than we’ve had recently!

Reflections from the studio

Photography is the one thing I’ve learnt over the years that makes a difference to your work after all the time and care that goes into the work that extra detail that just completes the work.

Thank you to @mariestone2213 for the photography
