There are moments in life you wish you could bottle up forever…

As I stood with this team wearing México across my chest one last time, I found myself looking around, trying to memorize every face, every embrace, every laugh, every tear. Because I knew this moment would become special.

This tournament ended with a silver medal, but what we built together will always feel like GOLD.

To lead this group of women and represent México on the world stage has been one of the greatest privileges of my athletic career. Being your captain was never about wearing the title, It was about earning your trust, fighting beside you, believing in one another, and leaving this jersey better than we found it.

Love ya’ll and I can’t wait to see what you all do next!

At SheLeadsTech 2026, a few members of our community were able to attend through our giveaway, including @Sofrk18, @marigall3, @stephshair88, @lupita.lopezll.

We asked them what the experience was like, and their answers say so much about why access to events like this matters. Sometimes it’s the workshop, the speaker, or the conversation that sticks with you. Sometimes it’s simply being around other people who are also figuring out their next step.

Grateful to @galie77, founder of SheLeadsTech, for creating this space. And a big thank you to the SheLeadsTech team and Official ISACA Denver for making this experience possible. taken in Denver, Colorado by @marigall3
